Well today has kind of been a depressing day. Jeff left last night to go to drill, he's going to be in Boise for a couple of weeks and so i know that i am just being prepared for when he goes over seas in September. All day i have just thought to myself.... This is what it's going to be like when Jeff goes ...I can't just pick up the phone and call him when i want to....or have the help with the boys at night. Man I know that i just need to put my faith in the lord, but it's so hard when you go and put your son in bed at night and he asks you..." why can't daddy stay with us at our house tonight?"... What do you say to that...? All i can tell him is that "daddy has to stay at army tonight sorry sweetheart!" He is at the age where he doesn't really know why daddy goes to army but he know that daddy sometimes stays the night at army, and can't stay with him at his house.

Anyway's i'll stop complaining I know that my husband is serving our country and i'm glad that he is willing to go and protects us because i know that i couldn't. I love him so much, and miss him too! Thank you honey for all you do!!

Our first Family Camp out!

We Had our First family camp out this last weekend in our back yard! We had so much FUN ! We cooked hotdog's on the fire and roasted marshmallow's. We even stayed out in the tent, i thought that Bradley did pretty good considering that he wasn't in his own bed.

Michael's Birthday Wishes!

The other day i asked Michael what he wanted for his Birthday, and he told me that he wanted a Basketball, To go Fishing for walleye ( I really don't think that he knows what kind of fish it is besides it's got a cool name), a rope to catch cows with and to go and ride horses. So Jeff works with a guy named Jake Geddes and he's always talking about his girls riding horses and doing the rodeo thing so Jeff asked him if he would let Michael come up and ride a horse. Jake told him to come on up! So on Thursday night (May 27,2010) we went to Downey and Jake helped us full fill a couple of Michaels birthday wishes.

Jake brought one of his horses home and let Michael ride it around there yard and field. He was SOOOOO excited that he got to ride a horse all by himself with no help. Jake and his girls were so sweet that they even went in and got Michael a rope so that he could try to rope his goats since he didn't have any cows.

I don't think that i have ever laughed so hard at Michael before.... He was trying so hard to rope but it just wasn't working, so i said to him" Do you want to see how mommy ropes?". He looked at me and said" Ya here you do it", so i walked over to the goat and put the rope around his head. Michael looked at me and started to giggle. So then he wanted to rope the goat and what does he do walks up to the goat and puts it around it's head and then pulls on the rope and plants his feet and yelled...." I got it, I got it!". He did it a couple of different times and then the goat decided that this time it was going to take off and Michael almost face planted it. So the next time he did it he came and held on to my hand and so that he would fall if it took off on him. So after all the fun of roping the goats he wanted to ride the horse one last time before we were done. Shannan his wife was so sweet, she made him cupcakes for his birthday.

Bradley even got to ride the horse while it was out. He didn't really know what to think at first but he had such a big smile on his face when we let him ride the horse.

The new things that are in store for Michael!

I'm excited to say that Michael is going to start doing karate. I'm a little scared to have him in it but i like that it well teach him some discipline and hopefully self control. I'm also hoping that it well be some sort of therapy for him, kind of an outlet for him when Jeff leaves to go over seas.

Michael also goes in on the 21st of may to do his Pre- School screening at West Side so i'm hoping we can get him into the school for pre-school so that we can carpool with people here in stead of driving to preston everyday to have him into school.

Legacy walk!

This year I have decided that i'm going to walk every day at least a mile or if i can more, weather it be on my new tred mil or out side and so far I've done pretty good. I was doing really good just doing it on my tred mil and then it got warm outside( well that was before it turn from spring back to winter) i noticed Jen Roberts( a gal that i met at the Weston market.) walking everyday with her kids. So i asked her if she wanted to walk with some one and she said she love the company so we started walking together during the week. It has really been a blast getting to know her. WE have a lot of thing in common, our Birthday's and our Anniversary's are the same not to mention we agree on a lot of things. Anyway's she asked me if i wanted to do the Legacy Walk that the hospital put's on and so i agreed and I AM SO EXCITED, to go and do something like this. I have never done anything like this before and so i can't wait!!!

Update!

Wow there has been a lot happen since the last time that i posted anything. To start things off me and my husband finally made it back to the temple after 2 month's it was so time to get back. We went with Jeff's brother Patrik and His wife Shanna, it was so nice to have them go with us.

My grandma had her 90th birthday party and the whole Sorensen family got together to celebrate it. I was so nice to see all the Sorensen side cousins that...well we haven't seen since i was very young.

That same day Jeff's sister Linda got married, it was a very pretty wedding. I'm glad that she found someone that makes her Smile and not to mention very HAPPY!

Jeff is in the Idaho Nation guard and got his call to go over seas. He leaves Sept.17 and will be gone for a year. I know that it's going to be hard and i don't think that it's totally hit me how hard that it's really going to be. I love him and am very proud of him for fighting for our country, I know that i wouldn't be able to go and do it so i'm very glad that he's willing to go and do it for me and our country.

And last but not least I can't believe how big my boy's have gotten in the last month. Michael Is such a good little helper and Bradley is starting to just be full of smiles!
